Chocolate was considered a big cause of acne in west but latest research confirms that there is no link between chocolate and acne. Although certain baked and oily foods can affect acne but there isn’t any link between chocolate.

It is a common belief that if your parents had acne, then you are also going to suffer from acne. There are a number of skin diseases that are heredity in nature but acne is not one of them.

It is another common misconception regarding acne. There are many different types of makeup. Generally oil based makeup are supposed to worsen the acne. Although most dermatologist don’t agree with this fact but still there are many other types of makeup that you can use. Water based makeup are a good choice if you are suffering from acne. Mineral makeup is also quite popular these days and is supposed to be good for the skin.
